Sam's Swap for Convention 2012
My very good friend Sam could not make it to convention this year as planned as today she will undergo her first round of chemotherapy. Thinking of you today Sam xxx
This is the swap that Sam and i made together and i have taken it to Canberra to swap on her behalf. Just something little i could do so that Sam doesnt completely miss out.
My own swaps are just a mixture of cards i have done for classes and have already shown you on here. But i do have 100!
At 8 am this morning it will be a swapping frenzy and then the lush Memento Mall. Check out facebook to see my scores!

Here is one of the gifts i am giving to my room mates tonight. It's a notebook covered with the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and completed with a Ribbon Rosette.
Make sure you check out my face book page for updates!

Simple Scored Criss Cross Album/Gift Card Holder
These are the projects we made for my Stamp Clubs this month. It focused on make Ribbon Rosettes and using the Simply Scored. We used the Simply Scored to make these mini albums. I placed a little card inside and on the other side you can place a chocolate, some photos or a gift card. Perfect for birthdays, mothers day or even christmas.
The ribbon rosettes were made using my favourite ribbon - Whisper White Organza Ribbon. I used Apothecary Art and Flower Fancy to decorate the insides of the album.
We also made a nice matching box with the Box No. 2 die to go along with the card and decorated it with another Ribbon Rosette.
If you check out my facebook page, i have uploaded a couple of othe colour schemes that the ladies made

Butterfly Lip Balms
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know that i am part of a demonstrator forum know as ESAD. We run regular blog hops which i generally participate in. I saw these super cute lip balm holders on the ESAD forum, however i don't know who the original designer was.
They are so cute and really easy. They would make the perfect little party favours for any little girls. I have actually been adding one in to the presents of a few of the girls in my son's class that he has recentley attended parties for.
They are made using the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot die and then embossing the larger butterfly and adding a strip of Designer Series Paper to secure the lip balm. Just gorgeous!

Accessories: 2011-2012 In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack, Mini Glue Dots, Sticky Strip

Ribbon Rosette Belated Birthday Card
I have been bad with quite a few birthday cards this year. With my son starting school i thought i would have more time to be organised but instead i seem to find myself with less.
So i missed another birthday and felt terrible about it, but i made a belated birthday card!
I have been showing my stamp clubs how to make ribbon rosettes this month so i was on a bit of a ribbon rosette roll and decided to make it the feature of this card.
They are really easy to make and yet quite sweet and effective. I will be sharing my stamp club projects with you next week and if you would like to learn how to make them, contact me and we can organise a class or a workshop.
Stamp Set: It's your Birthday
Card Stock: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Brushed Silver
Accessories: Antique Brads, Real Red Satin Ribbon, Heat Tool, 2 1/2" circle Punch, Basic Black Tafetta Ribbon, Scallop Lace Border Punch
Big Shot: Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Perfect Pennants Die

I made two hand bags one blue and one red and white. When you take the lids off the box 'expodes' outwards with a nice hidden surprise in the centreThey were tricky but i am sure the lucky recipients were more than happy with them.
I used the Apothecary Art stamp set and the Blossom Party die to decorate.
This is the inside of the red one i made.

Petite Pockets Lipstick Case
I hope you all had a wonderful mothers day yesterday. I spent my morning at brunch with mum, hubby and the kids and then we went apple picking which was something fun and different to do. I was also spoiled by going to High Tea on saturday afternoon.
A few weeks ago on a stampin' day with a friend i made this little box out from the Petite Pockets die. It is the perfect size for a couple of lipsticks or lip glosses. It is simply finished off with some flowers from the Blossom Party die, ribbons and brads.
Card Stock: Blushing Bride, Regal Rose
Accessories: Filigree Brads, White Organza Ribbon, Regal Rose 1/8" Tafetta Ribbon
